Informative Mailshots

On designated days we will send interactive, informative mailshots to all employees with the aim to raise awareness of what practical steps they can take with regards to sustainability. The mailshot will tackle topics such as:

• minimising the use of plastic

• conserving energy within the office

• benefits of investing in office plants

• encourage employees to go for organic fruit and vegetables.

Informative Session

We have invited Dr Marco Cremona, Hydrologist/Water Treatment Engineer to deliver an interactive session to all employees on water conservation, with the aim to engage members of staff on the topic of sustainable development. We also intend to distribute related material/tokens to raise further awareness.

Think before printing campaign

We will add a banner to our current email signatures which will hopefully spread the message to avoid needless printing.

Collection of E-Waste

We will start a collection for unwanted electronic items, such as: mobile phones, batteries, cables etc. At the end of the week, we will take the collected waste to a civic amenity site.

Other

In June 2022, the Archdiocese of Malta – Archbishop’s Curia has organised a clean-up event at l-Aħrax tal-Mellieħa. More information on this event is accessible on church.mt.
