Living your beautiful sustainable life
20 Sep 2022 @ 18:00 – 22:00
An inspirational evening in the pursuit of inspiring more people towards positive sustainable actions. The event will consist of a manifestation workshop, and inspirational talk with the participation of guests relaying their personal story, and a short interactive discussion about the role of food and fashion in our lives.

Upon arrival, guests are offered a welcome drink and some time to get acquainted with the space, which in itself is a community social enterprise promoting local organic farmers produce, artisan products, second-hand clothes, books and accessories, and selling re-furbished pieces of furniture, saved from landfill.
The event starts with a workshop designed for those who are ready for the mindset shift into sustainable living. During this workshop, we will discuss how we can live a beautiful life without being a burden on the planet. We will demonstrate that it is possible to live a fulfilled happy life while being a force of good deeds for the environment. Amanda will explain how to achieve this through meditation, mindfulness and mastering the law of attraction and using the SDGs as a guide. Expect to walk away feeling clear and confident on the fundamental building blocks to living a sustainable life, and giving yourself the opportunity to live an authentic and abundant life. This workshop will cover SDGs, 8 and 10.
The workshop will be followed by an inspiration talk by Zen with the participation of a number of local sustainable business owners and individuals who will share their personal experience about switching to a more sustainable lifestyle. The aim is to encourage others into instilling sustainability into everyday life, and learn to make better conscious decisions as consumers, employees or entrepreneurs. There are many mis-conceptions around eco-friendly living which we will explore, together while getting an understanding on solutions and opportunities. This talk will cover SDGs 12 and 13.
Following the talk, we will dive into an interactive discussion with Emanuela, who will provide us with insights about food and farming. She will explain how choosing locally grown food, not only helps the fight against climate change, but also helps support the Maltese farmers who need encouragement to keep up the challenging agricultural industry, due to the ever-changing climate, and other factors. After the talk, guests will be served a ‘surplus’ dinner, prepared from the fresh local pesticide-free produce delivered directly by the organic farmers. Dinner consists of a buffet selection of delicious and wholesome dishes including dessert. Free-flowing water is included in the dinner, while other drinks will be available at the bar. Dinner is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs. The concept behind this is to understand and experience first hand the simple joys of a good meal, shared amongst the community that gathers. The dinner we will cover SDGs 3, 11 and 15.
This event is open to anyone who is ready to switch their mindset towards sustainable living, conducting a life with purpose and want to feel part of a meaningful community. It is an opportunity to find new solutions and build good relationships in an effort to make the world a better place.
