Introducing circular economy in woodcraft

I am involved in circular economy in woodcraft. I reshape and redesign unwanted timber turning it into timeless arts and gifts. I participate in markets trying to promote and sell my art works. I also make children's activities to promote circularity by encouraging children to paint wooden ornaments which I make from tulip/pine left overs. These painted ornaments are then used as plant decorations.

Youth Ambassadors for Urban Mobility Stakeholders Meeting

This programme aims to facilitate and encourage discussions between a number of Youth Ambassadors on the topic of improving Urban Mobility in Malta and how best to possibly incentivise young people to adopt these strategies.

The Valletta Design Cluster in collaboration with EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Malta is coordinating the youth ambassador programme and facilitating the discussions with local stakeholders in the field to better understand and challenge the Youth Ambassador’s ideas with a final aim of formulating a number of tangible proposals to be put forward.

That is why, at Esplora we have the Sensory Friendly Hours where we will be adjusting the ambiance inside Esplora to allow neurodiverse children and adults to explore Esplora and fully enjoy everything that we have to offer in a peaceful atmosphere. Our team are trained and will always be on hand to support parents and caregivers if ever needed.
