Ġnien l-Indipendenza, with an area of 1,500 square meters, will be regenerated with an investment of €200,000 to offer accessibility to people with disabilities, ensure efficiency in the use of resources such as water and electricity, and provide shelter to those who visit.
The benches in this garden will be made of recycled plastic that require less maintenance to keep them in good condition. The structures providing shelter from the elements will be made of wood while the well will be restored so that the rainwater is not lost and used for watering the garden.
