| On the 15th of September 2024 there will be the launch of Malta’s Sustainable Development Action Days: Shaping together the future we want, which will be held at Pretty Bay, Birzebbugia between 5:30pm and 10:30pm. Malta’s Sustainable Development Action Days, which start on the 18th of September and conclude on the 8th of October, are part of the European Sustainable Development Week, during which a number of initiatives, activities and projects by Government entities, voluntary organisations, the private sector and individuals all over Malta and Gozo will be organised. The aim of such initiatives is to promote and increase the awareness of sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the general public. The closing of the Saving Our Blue campaign will also be celebrated in this event, during which a number of different activities will be held, including a beach soccer tournament, canvas painting, as well as other activities for children. Moreover, attendees will have the opportunity to transform themselves into a diver and explore protected maritime areas around Malta and Gozo through virtual reality offered by the Saving Our Blue mobile unit. |
