Super Heroes of the Earth

This initiative is part of an ongoing project – Superheroes of the Earth. The children learn about social permaculture and sustainability in a fun and hands on way.

This initiative is part of an ongoing project – Superheroes of the Earth spread along all the year at different frequencies. We have just finished an intensive Summer camp which focuses on Social Paermaculture and Sustainability. During the September session the children will participate in a fun and educational quiz about Social permaculture and Sustainability to summerize what they have learnt so far in a fun way. Then we will prepare an orange juice to enjoy together and from the orange scraps we shall be making home made detergent. Here we will pin on ‘no waste’ and will use also other no waste examples such as using recycled spray bottles etc. After, they will tend to the community garden that the community children are growing themselves. We use old detergent bottles as watering cans as another example of sustainability. After we will enjoy the previously prepared orange juice and some fruit together. Superheroes of the Earth is guided by the SDG’s pinning on different targets through different sessions.
