Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the United Nations Member States—including Malta—adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with the aim to provide a shared plan for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, for now and the future.
There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which call for urgent action by all countries to address issues regarding poverty, health, education, inequalities, economic growth, climate change and the preservation of our oceans and land ecosystems.
