Community Impact Award

Initiatives that have made a substantial positive social impact on local communities. Applicants under this category can consider:

• Efforts to partner up with local communities engaging with relevant stakeholders such as NGOs, local associations and local government etc.
• Efforts to address minority groups and inequalities.
• Efforts to showcase the long-term and lasting change of such a project. 
• Efforts to showcase the direct and active involvement of the communities affected during this project.
• Efforts of adaptation to help other similar communities.
• Efforts to combat other social issues.
• Any other efforts that have significantly improved social well-being on a local/community level.

This award will apply specifically to stakeholders that are:

• Voluntary Organisations registered with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations
• Local and Regional Councils

Awards

Those placing first will be awarded a €2000 monetary prize and a trophy. Those placing second and third will be awarded a trophy.
