Public Service Sustainability Award

Initiatives and progress made by the Public Service to help push the sustainable development agenda. Applicants under this category can consider:

• Efforts to introduce or reform public policies and regulations within the Government that support sustainable development.
• Efforts to implement and promote the 17 UN SDGs and Malta’s Sustainable Development Strategic Goals into all aspects of their work.
• Efforts to introduce socio-economic and environmentally friendly strategies in their operations and at the workplace.
• Efforts to improve and take care of their employees’ health and well-being. 
• Efforts to collaborate with other public entities to reach and implement sustainability.
• Any other efforts shown by public entities in embedding sustainability across government operations. 

This award will apply specifically to stakeholders that are:

• Bodies or Entities that fall under the Public Service or Public Sector
