The EU-SILC instrument provides two types of data, namely cross-sectional data with variables on income, poverty, social exclusion, and other living conditions pertaining to a given time, and the second being longitudinal data pertaining to individual-level changes over time (observed over a four- or greater-year rotation). The domain for Income and Living Conditions covers topics such as persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion, income inequality, income distribution and monetary poverty, living conditions, among others.
