The Sustainable Development Division within the Ministry for Energy, the Environment and the Regeneration of the Grand Harbour (MEER) has launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) for economic operators interested in providing food and/or drink stalls during a public event being organised on 18 September 2026 at San Klement Park, Żabbar. The event aims to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is expected to attract a significant number of attendees.
Prospective operators are invited to submit a proposal for the provision of food and/or beverage services throughout the event. Applications must include a completed application form, menu, itemised price list, and a visual representation of the proposed stall.
MEER is seeking quality food and drink offerings that complement the event’s family-friendly atmosphere while also promoting sustainability. Operators are encouraged to provide healthy options, including vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free choices, and to adopt environmentally responsible practices such as reducing packaging and using compostable disposables.
Interested operators must submit their application by 21 August 2026 at 12:00pm. Further details and the full Expression of Interest document can be obtained by contacting [email protected].
