Eco-Bingo: Staff & Student Sustainability Challenge
18 September @ 08:00 – 8 October @ 17:00
Eco-Bingo is a fun sustainability challenge open to all MCAST students and staff, running from 18th September to 8th October. Participants receive a digital bingo card with eco-friendly actions like using a reusable bottle, turning off lights, recycling, or cycling to campus. Completing a full row enters them into a prize draw for eco-themed or MCAST-branded items. The initiative promotes everyday sustainable habits in a fun and engaging way while supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A colourful bingo card and promotional materials will be shared, with a possible prize ceremony and short impact report at the end.

Eco-Bingo is a fun, interactive challenge open to all MCAST students and staff. Participants will receive a digital bingo card filled with sustainability-themed actions — such as using a reusable bottle, turning off unused lights, recycling correctly, walking or cycling to campus, or attending a green talk. Participants complete as many actions as possible between 18th September and 8th October, and those who complete a full row (or more) are entered into a prize draw.
The aim is to encourage practical, everyday actions that support the UN SDGs in an accessible and engaging way. The challenge helps normalise sustainable habits on campus while creating a sense of shared responsibility and fun.
A colourful Eco-Bingo card will be designed and circulated in advance. A banner will also be provided for social media and website use.
Some additional information:
• A prize ceremony or announcement can be held at the end of the period.
• Winners could receive eco-friendly items or MCAST-branded sustainable merchandise.
• Bingo data could feed into a short end-of-initiative impact report (e.g. X number of lights turned off, Y reusable items used).
