In the past months Wied Dalam has been cleared of most invasive species and is undergoing a renaturing process through the planning of indigenous trees and shrubs. Visitors will be taken through this project lead by Heritage Malta to appreciate better the process of renaturing. This process assists the establishment of an indigenous habitat. A walk through will be led by the project leader with a detailed explanation on the works which have been carried out and the planned works for the future.

The outreach will consist of a presentation on energy efficiency and renewables in different local councils who show interest to host us and an open discussion with participants on how best to become carbon neutral.

Hilton Malta team members over two days will be volunteering in the Soup Kitchen OFM Valletta. Team members will support the operation of the kitchen. Consisting of cleaning, service, meal preparation and interaction with people using the soup Kitchen.
The month before the actual day we will be collecting used clothes, shoes, towels, sheets and other items – separate them by size and gender and on the 4th October we will set up a small stall at the Soup Kitchen to distribute to all those who come at the Soup Kitchen on the day.

Partners' Meeting for Cross-re-tour Project - The project, which began in September 2023 and is set to continue for the next three years, has a budget of €3.5 million and is co-financed at 90% through COSME – Europe’s programme for small and medium-sized enterprises. Out of this budget, 2.4 million will be used to support 80 tourism SMEs in implementing innovative solutions developed in partnership with other stakeholders. This support will be fully funded up to 100%.
