We know that a typical visit to Esplora Interactive Science Centre can be quite challenging for those who feel overwhelmed with loud sounds and bright lights. That is why, at Esplora we have the Sensory Friendly Hours where we will be adjusting the ambiance inside Esplora to allow neurodiverse children and adults to explore Esplora and fully enjoy everything that we have to offer in a peaceful atmosphere. Our team are trained and will always be on hand to support parents and caregivers if ever needed.

This is an activity presented by the Malta Sociological Association with the Department of Sociology at the University of Malta as part of the Science in the City activities.

Soar Service, part of the St Jeanne Antide Foundation, is aimed at assisting women and children who have experienced domestic violence. The programme not only addresses immediate needs but also focuses on long-term sustainability and financial independence. It includes financial empowerment through budgeting and savings workshops, sustainability education, and waste reduction strategies such as thrift shopping, using reusable products, and resourcefulness training.
